Our baby is getting to be a big baby!! He had his one month check up today. When he was born 4 weeks ago he weighed 7lbs 2oz and was 21 inches long. Today he weighed in at 9.9 lbs and was 22 inches long. What a big boy! I am dreading his next apt because thats when he gets his first round of vaccinations,,, It's gonna stink for our poor little guy. :(

My o my...what a big boy! Your tita loves you!
Precious. Love the Papa photo. He will scream and cry because the shots hurt, but once they put the bandaid on, hold him to your chest and be quiet, sway, and just breathe real deep and slow. It will slow your heart and cue him to relax and feel safe.
About the tylenol- I didn't give it to my kids the first time since one of the indicators of an allergic reaction is a high fever ( he may run a low grade fever for the day, that is normal). I was afraid the tylenol would mask any reaction. After the first shots, I did give tylenol before the appt. just to ease their discomfort a little. Your pediatrician can tell you how much to give.
