Cocker's will bite. We had a Cocker which was very lovable, but he would become mean if anyone walked close to him while he ate. The trick to break him of that is to use a rolled up (2-3 pages of newsapaper) enough to make a loud noise. When he growls intently , smack him on the rear and in a loud voice say "NO". This usually takes 4-8 episodes.He has to learn who the BOSS is, then he will be broken of the growly and aggessive attitude. This FYI
