So,,, here's the story. Through the organization that I do volunteer work for, I get this call about Lucy, who is chained, outside, with no food or water. I contacted her owners and It wook me 2 weeks before they agreed to surrender her to me and Dogs Deserve Better. I lined up a transport for Lucy to go to South Florida where she would live with Suncoast Basset Rescue until they found her a permanent home. Needless to say, we fell in love with her and could not let her go. The rest is history! :)
