I owe Fisher Price a Thank You Card!

For the past few nights, Liam has been getting fussy around the same time every night. It happens between 7 and 8 pm. I looked into getting a swing and did some review research online. I found that the Fisher Price Little Lamb Dream Swing got excellent reviews and not one of the 26 I read was bad or had less than 4 out of a possible 5 star rating. So, off to Toys R Us I went to make my purchase! Thank You Fisher Price. For any new moms out there (Lacey!) I highly reccomend this swing! :) Liam LOVES it! :)

A Trip Down Memory Lane

I was going through some old pictures on my computer while updating the blog last night. Here are some pics of the night that Bill proposed to me. I remember it like it was yesterday. The restaurant was called Old City House, downtown St. Augustine. It was such a great night!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. We are spending the day at my mom and Dad's with Aunt Letty, Raylin, and Raquel. Along with Dan, Jen and Brandon. It is Liams first Thanksgiving and although he did not get any Turkey, I would say he definately enjoyed himself! Can't wait for his first Christmas!
I have a ton of pics of all of us that I need to get up. We got a new camera and as soon as I figure out how to download the pics, I will get them up!

I am thankful for:

1. My family. We have been going thru a stressful time with Dad recovering from his stroke and Im just thankful that we all still have eachother around. Some people arent as lucky.

2. Our beautiful, healthy baby boy. Thank you Jesus for such a wonderful gift!

3. My job. Even though I miss Liam so much when I'm at work, I am very thankful that I even have a job right now, there are so many people out there who are jobless and it's not fair! It's just awful!

4. Bill. The best husband anyone could ever ask for.

5. My best friends, my mom and my sister.

6. My dogs. (Even though I could just KILL Lucy at times!) :)

7. My home.

8. Our health.

9. Bill's Family. I love you all.

10. Last but not least, I am thankful for all the blessings that god has given me that I am forgetting to mention here.

Dad is home

Our dad got to come home today and it sure is refreshing to see him do some of his "routine" things such as check his email. Things will be slow for him but he starts his in home therapy tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well. We will keep you all updated.

Our Dad had an MRI today and it confirmed that he had a stroke early Saturday morning. The part of the brain affected was the communication part. Although dad can speak, he has a little difficulty getting out certain words making communication with us pretty frustrating for him. Please continue to pray for him, he has some work ahead of him. We love you very much daddy!!

Prayers Please

Our daddy is in the hospital and we are asking for prayers, I will spare details until all his tests come back and the Dr's are able to determine what is wrong. Please pray for him.

Will he do it again??? My guess is yes,,, although I think Percy should be a good candidate,, the media tends to disagree. Don't get me wrong, I would not mind seeing Tebow take it again.

1 down, 1 to go!

Well, our first night without daddy wasnt THAT bad. We tried to keep our day as routine as possible, even making a big trip to Publix with Lola. Liam did great but being on full time diaper duty without daddy's help today really put things in perspective for me. This little guy goes thru a LOT of diapers!
As a side note, I had my final OB check yesterday for my 4 week post partum check up and I realized how much I absolutely LOVED being pregnant. I have a good friend with 2 kids that says she didnt enjoy anything about being pregnant. Actually, she said she hated being pregnant and I just dont understand it. Sitting in the lobby with all the pregnant girls made me a bit sad,, then I looked over at our little guy and said oh yeah! This is what I got out of it! THings are great the way they are! He is just soooo sweet!

I've been dreading this night

This has, by far, been the best month ever. Bill and I had a beautiful, healthy, baby boy and Bill was able to be home with us for over a month. Well, he leaves tomorrow to go back to work. I am so sad because I've been so spoiled having him home this long. He's never been home this long since he started his airline career. I joked with him that I guess I'll just have to stay pregnant to have hime home! I'm really dreading not having him around to help at those 3am feedings,, those are the roughest and his help was sooooo appreciated. I am also very envious of the all the sleep he will be getting without having to change poopy diapers! I'm sure he would much rather be home though. We will miss you daddy while you are away and we already are looking forward to getting you back on Sunday! Hurry home and be safe while you are away. We love you very much.

I have the best Boss!

So, my maternity leave officially ends on Nov 24th. I went in and spoke to my boss today about returning to work part time so I can spend more time with Liam at home. With the amount of time that Bill is already gone as a pilot, we knew this would be tough. My boss agreed to let me come back part time and he made me the HAPPIEST mommy in the world. I love my job and would never want to leave it and now I have the best of both worlds,, my job AND being able to be home with Liam. Life is GOOD! Thanks to the best boss!

Liam had his 1 month check up today

Our baby is getting to be a big baby!! He had his one month check up today. When he was born 4 weeks ago he weighed 7lbs 2oz and was 21 inches long. Today he weighed in at 9.9 lbs and was 22 inches long. What a big boy! I am dreading his next apt because thats when he gets his first round of vaccinations,,, It's gonna stink for our poor little guy. :(

ALF

So, how many of you out there remember Alf? Bill and I were trying to find something to watch on tv, when we ran across Alf. It has been years since I have even thought about Alf more or less see his cute little self on TV. Anyway,, just wanted to take a trip down memory lane. My sister and I loved watching Alf!!

I told Bill tonight that Liam's first words will probably be "I Love You" because I feel like that's all he ever hears! :) I love this little guy more that I ever thought possible. How is it possible to feel so much love for one tiny little being? It AMAZES me,, I cried today watching him sleep.
