Mother's friend? Cocoa Butter? Baby oil? No, this is what I have been using from the first day I found out I was pregnant. It's very creamy and it stays on all day, and I love the smell! This is my second jar, so you can see it lasts a long time. Bill surprised me and it was waiting for me when I got home from work today. For $35 , its a pretty good deal.......so far so good,, no stretch marks yet. ( and I hope it stays that way).

15 Things that Change When You Have a Baby
I was reading a baby website today and came across the following. Some of them really touched me and although our baby is not yet here,, he is definately here in spirit and I can ALREADY relate, especially with # 10 and 13. Even though I can't look at our baby yet, I am constantly finding myself looking at my belly wondering what he's doing in there and wondering what he looks like. :)
1. You finally stop to smell the roses, because your baby is in your arms.
2. Where you once believed you were fearless, you now find yourself afraid.
3. The sacrifices you thought you made to have a child no longer seem like sacrifices.
4. You respect your body ... finally.
5. You respect your parents and love them in a new way.
6. You find that your baby's pain feels much worse than your own.
7. You believe once again in the things you believed in as a child.
8. You lose touch with the people in your life whom you should have banished years ago.
9. Your heart breaks much more easily.
10. You think of someone else 234,836,178,976 times a day.
11. Every day is a surprise.
12. Bodily functions are no longer repulsive. In fact, they please you. (Hooray for poop!)
13. You look at your baby in the mirror instead of yourself.
14. You become a morning person.
15. Your love becomes limitless, a superhuman power.

7 months along today
Well, I am 7 months along today,,,,28 weeks down,, 12 to go! I have been very uncomfortable at night, and not to mention very hot! Because I'm not sleeping well at night, I wake up exhausted, then I have to put in 9 hours at the j-o-b! By the time I make it home I'm crawling in the door. This all came on this week though,, maybe I'm just having an "off" week or something, cause otherwise I have been feeling great. My craving is still GRAPEFRUIT! Not so much pineapple anymore,, kinda got tired of that one,, so now it's still grapefruit and sherbets! Yummy! Our next Dr. apt is Aug 18th. It's the last of our 4 week apts, then we go to every two weeks then at 9 months it's every week til I deliver. Our baby shower will be on Sept. 20th. I am REALLY looking forward to this because Bills family from Michigan, Atlanta and St. Augustine will be here. My sister has taken on the stressful resposibility of planning the big event and trying to figure out what I want to eat , I told her,, oh just some "grapefruit"! No,,, really,,, I guess she and I are coming up with what I hope to be a very good menu. It wont be your "typical" baby shower, ours will be held at 5pm on a Saturday. I didn't really want it to be during the day,, it's just so HOT right now. I try my best to hibernate from 11-3 as much as possible. :) Getting out in the heat when you're 7 months pregnant tends to add 10 degrees to the temperature! It's horrible!!!
Well, that's pretty much it for now. Oh, I have finally finished the baby registry,, what a big task that was,,, but Im done now and it feels pretty good. Oh,, one more thing,, I wanted to literally slap one of my clients in the office the other day,, she said,, "oh, you look so much better today,,, the last time I was in you looked so swollen"! I mean,,, who says that to someone??? Granted, she was 78 years old, and she may be loosing her marbles,, but come on! That was so wrong...I wanted to tell her,,, "Look lady! How about kissing my you know what! :) Okay,,, thats it for now,,, Im missing Bill, so I feel like Im just posting a bunch of nonsense.... He left this morning,, He'll be home Monday night,,,, :(
